Elements
Elements allow you to build and manage your story's foundation. Use this feature to organize characters, settings, and objects, then enrich them with detailed notes and deep analysis to keep your story world consistent.

To expand your story world, tap the "+" icon in the top corner. From here, you can manually create new elements and groups or use AI assistance to generate them for you automatically.

To check an element in a more detailed view, simply tap on it. This will open up a new view with different sections.
Let's go over each one of them.
Element Notes
These notes are a way for you to add ideas and any extra information regarding your particular element.

You can add as much text as you wish, as well as modify the format, add lists, and if you wish to have a wider view of your note, you can simply tap on the 3 dots at the top corner, then select ''Open'':

Element AI Analysis
This is a feature that provides a deep dive into your story's components. If you’re analyzing a character, the tool scans all descriptions, notes, and mentions across your manuscript to provide clear, actionable insights into their role and development.
Once the analysis has been completed, you can also add it as a task, stash it, or copy it. It will also always be available for you once generated, and if you wish to do so, you can regenerate it as well to update it with any new content you've added to your manuscript.

Appears In
Let me explain the way our tagging system and alternative names work:
The "Appears In" feature is closely tied to the manuscript’s tagging system, which serves as a way to monitor and update every mention of a particular element throughout your work. Whenever an element is referenced, the system records it, and the "Appears In" feature then shows you both the total number of times that element appears and provides direct access to each location where it is mentioned.
This makes it easy to maintain consistency and quickly navigate your manuscript. To ensure the feature works correctly, it is essential that the element’s name is typed exactly as it appears in the left sidebar. Even small differences in spelling, capitalization, or formatting can prevent the system from recognizing the element and linking it properly.

As you type your element's name or any alternative names assigned to it on your manuscript, you will have the option to tag them and activate the tracking of that particular element:

To keep your manuscript accurate and consistent, you’ll want to make sure all mentions of your element are properly linked. The easiest way to do this is by using the “Link All Mentions” option, which updates every reference to the element across your manuscript in one step. You’ll find this option by clicking on the three dots at the far right of your element. Once selected, the system will automatically connect all instances, ensuring that your manuscript stays organized and up to date as you continue writing.

Relations
This feature helps you connect your elements, establish relationships between them, and manage those connections as your story progresses.

To get started, click on “Add New Relationship.” This action will open a new window where you can choose the elements you want to connect and then define the relationship between them.

To edit or delete them, click on the pencil or trash can icon at the end.
Alt Names
This feature allows you to assign alternative names or nicknames to your elements, providing greater flexibility in how they are represented. By doing so, you can personalize your elements more deeply while also keeping track of every variation as your story unfolds.

To get started, click on ''Add Alternative Name''. A new window will appear where you can create the alternative name for your element. You can add as many as you need, and each one can be edited or removed at any time by using the pencil or trashcan icons.

It is also important to keep the mentions of your alternative names updated as you work. To do this, simply tap on the alternative name, and the ''Link All Mentions'' option will appear, allowing you to synchronize every reference throughout your manuscript.
