Alternative Names

Alternative Name is a flexible feature that allows you to associate additional names, such as nicknames, abbreviations, or alternate identifiers, to a specific Element. This option ensures greater personalization and adaptability when managing or referencing Elements. For example, if an Element represents an individual, you could include both formal titles and familiar names, making it easier to address them in various contexts.

You can find the Alternative Name option by clicking on your selected Element in the left sidebar first, and then on the right sidebar, you'll be able to see it available as the third option under the Tags:

You can add a new Alternative Name by clicking on ''Add Alternative Name'' as shown in the screenshot above.

You can edit, delete, and add as many nicknames/alternative names as you'd like.
