# Importing a Manuscript

You can easily import your manuscript into LivingWriter with just a few clicks.

First, you need to go to your Dashboard:

Once there, you'll be able to see the option near the bottom right, called ''Import Story''. Once clicked, your view will change to this new menu:

Here, you'll be able to upload your desired manuscript as well as select your headings and their font size:

After selecting your manuscript and the corresponding headings, you can proceed by clicking "Import."

Your newly imported manuscript will open automatically, and you'll be able to see it in the Dashboard once you go back to it.
