Exporting a Manuscript
Exporting a manuscript is a straightforward process that takes only a few clicks.
First, you need to go to ''Manuscript'':

Clicking on it will show you two options, and once you choose one, a new window will pop up on your screen:

As shown in the screenshot above, you can export it as a PDF or docx, to Google Drive, and lastly, to Amazon Manuscript. Dropbox will be included in our future updates, so don't worry!
You can export your entire manuscript or specific chapters, as well as the Chapter Notes and even Elements of your manuscript. All you need to do is select what you'd like to export specifically and then click on the ''Export'' button at the bottom right.
You will be able to find your exported file in your Downloads folder.
Where can I find my downloaded manuscript on my computer?
Windows:
Open File Explorer and click on Downloads to locate your file. Files you've downloaded are automatically saved in the Downloads folder. This folder is usually located on the drive where Windows is installed (for example, C:\users\your name\downloads). You can always move downloads from the Downloads folder to other places on your PC.
Mac:
Click the Downloads folder on your Mac's dock to view your downloaded files. If the Downloads folder isn't on the dock, open Finder and navigate to Users > (Username) > Downloads to find your downloads.
Where can I find my downloaded manuscript on my mobile device?
Android:
Open the Android app drawer by swiping up from the bottom of the screen. You can also access the app drawer by tapping its icon on the home screen.
Tap My Files (or File Manager).
Inside the My Files app, tap Downloads.
Android Tablet:
On your Android device, open Files by Google.
Under the Recents section, you can view your recently added, downloaded, and modified files.
Under the Categories section, you can tap a category to see files from that category in a list.
To change how the files display, tap Grid view .
iPhone:
Swipe down from the center of your Home Screen
Search for the Files app.
Tap the Browse tab.
Tap iCloud Drive.
Tap the Downloads folder to see your downloaded files.
iPad:
Open the Files app. Don't have the blue Files app icon on your Home Screen? Swipe down from the center of your Home Screen, then search for the Files app.
Tap the Browse tab.
Tap iCloud Drive.
Tap the Downloads folder to see your downloaded files.
